Gauribidanur : ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುಗಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬದಂದು ಜೂಜಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು 67 ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ತಾಲೂಕಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದು, ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ಬಂಧಿತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ 60,930 ನಗದು, ಆರು ವಾಹನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 4, ಮಂಚೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 5 ಹಾಗೂ ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 1 ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 10 ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಸಿಪಿಐ ಕೆ.ಪಿ. ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ.
ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಠಾಣೆ ಪಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ಸಿ.ಆರ್.ಭಾಸ್ಕರ್, ಮಂಚೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ನಗರ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್‌ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಕಾನೂನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ.
67 People Arrested for Gambling during Ugadi Festival
Gauribidanur : Around 67 people have been arrested by the police for gambling during the Ugadi festival in Gauribidanur. The accused were allegedly indulging in illegal activities across the taluk, leading to their arrest. As part of the operation, the police seized a sum of 60,930 cash, six vehicles and two mobile phones from the arrested individuals.
The police have registered a total of 10 cases, including four in Gouribidanur Rural Police Station, five in Manchenahalli Police Station and one in Gouribidanur City Police Station. The operation is still ongoing, according to Circle CPI K.P. Satyanarayan.
The operation was conducted under the guidance of Satyanarayan, with the involvement of rural station PSI C.R. Bhaskar, PSI Narayanaswamy of Manchenahalli police station, and PSI Nagendra Prasad of Nagar police station. The police have taken strict action against those who violate the law, and such operations will continue in the future to maintain law and order in the area.
