Chikkaballapur : ಸೋಮವಾರ ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಕುರಿತ ಪೂರ್ವ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಸಭೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎನ್.ಎಂ.ನಾಗರಾಜ್ “ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಆದರೂ ನಾವು ಸಕಲ ಸಿದ್ಧರಿರಬೇಕು. ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆಯೋಗ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುವ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮದ್ಯ, ಅಕ್ರಮ ನಗದು ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಿತರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಸಾಗಾಟವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿರುವ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಚೆಕ್ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಚುರುಕುಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹೊರ ರಾಜ್ಯ, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮದ್ಯ, ಅಕ್ರಮ ನಗದು, ಉಡುಗೊರೆ ನೀಡಲು ಅಕ್ರಮ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಾಟ ಆಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಕೂಡದು. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಕಾನೂನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಜಿ. ನಿಟ್ಟಾಲಿ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಿ.ಎಲ್. ನಾಗೇಶ್, ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎನ್.ತಿಪ್ಪೇಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಉಪವಿಭಾಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಜಿ. ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಉಪ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Pre-Election Meeting
On Monday, a pre-election meeting was held at the Chikkaballapur District Collectorate Hall, presided over by District Commissioner N.M. Nagaraj. During the meeting, Nagaraj emphasized the need for full preparedness, regardless of when the election is announced. He stated that all arrangements have been made as per the directions of the Election Commission, and that the instructions given by the Commission should be followed in the coming days.
To ensure a fair and transparent election, The inspection check posts that have been started should be intensified to prevent the transportation of illegal liquor, illegal cash, and illegal items for gifting from outside states and districts by the police and excise departments.
Nagaraj also urged officials from the Commercial Tax Department, Excise and Police Departments to be more aware and take strict legal action against violators. The Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Prakash G. Nittali, District Superintendent of Police D.L. Nagesh, Additional District Collector N. Thippeswamy, Sub-Divisional Officer G. Santhosh Kumar, Zilla Panchayat Deputy Secretary Shivakumar, Tahsildar, and various department officials were present at the meeting.
