Sidlaghatta : ಸಕ್ಷಮ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಪರವಾನಗಿ ಪಡೆಯದೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಸಬಾರದು. ಅಂಟಿಸುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಸಿದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಅವರು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಸಿರುವರೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನಗರಸಭೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಗರಸಭೆ ಪೌರಾಯುಕ್ತ ಆರ್.ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ನಗರದ ಅಂಡರ್ ಪಾಸ್ ಬಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿದೆಡೆ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಗರಸಭೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯಿಂದ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಕೆಲವೆಡೆ ಬಣ್ಣ ಬಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ನಗರಸಭೆಯಿಂದ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಪರವಾನಗಿ ಪಡೆಯದೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್‌ಗಳು, ಬ್ಯಾನರ್‌ಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.

ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಅನಧಿಕೃತ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು ಬಂದರೆ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಅವರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುವರು ಎಂದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರಸಭೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

Unauthorized Posters and Banners removed

Sidlaghatta : The District Collector has issued a stern warning to political parties, stating that no banners or posters shall be put up without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority. Any party found guilty of flouting this directive will face legal consequences, along with anyone who supported them in this illegal act. To ensure compliance, the Municipal Commissioner R. Srikanth has directed the city council to clear all political posters from public spaces, and take legal action against any violators.

Recently, Municipal Council staff were seen removing political posters from the walls of the city’s underpass and other public places. The Commissioner stressed that promotional materials cannot be installed in public places without proper authorization, and those who ignore this rule will be dealt with severely.

The District Collector has instructed officials to clear all unauthorized promotional materials found within their jurisdiction and take legal action against those involved. The Municipal staff present during the removal of these posters demonstrated their commitment to enforcing the law.
