Sidlaghatta : ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಎಚ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜಂಗಮಕೋಟೆ ಚೆಕ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸೋಮವಾರ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹೆಚ್.ಕ್ರಾಸ್‌ನ ಚೆಕ್‌ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಟಿ ಲೀಡರ್ ಎಂ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸಕೋಟೆಯಿಂದ ಚಿಂತಾಮಣಿ ಕಡೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಬೊಲೆರೋ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ತಪಾಸಣೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ 900 ರೂಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಜಂಗಮಕೋಟೆ ಚೆಕ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಟಿ ಲೀಡರ್ ಪಿ.ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಗಳನ್ನು ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಚುನಾವಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಜಾವೀದಾ ನಸೀಮಾ ಖಾನಂ ಹಾಗು ಎಂಸಿಸಿ ನೋಡಲ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮುನಿರಾಜು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Election Officials Seize Large Sums of Money at Check Posts in Sidlaghatta

Sidlaghatta : A large sum of money was confiscated by election officials at two different check posts in the Shidlaghatta Assembly Constituency on Monday. According to reports, a Mahendra Bolero vehicle headed from Hoskote to Chintamani and driven by SST leader M. Manjunath was stopped and searched at the H. Cross check post in Shidlaghatta taluk, resulting in the seizure of Rs. 1,01,900. Similarly, another vehicle was checked under the supervision of SST leader P. Ramakrishnappa at the Jangamkote check post, resulting in the confiscation of Rs. 1,00,000. Election Officer Javeeda Naseema Khanam and MCC Nodal Officer Muniraju confirmed the seizures.
