Chikkaballapur : ಮುಂಬರುವ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಮುನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎನ್.ಎಂ.ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಕ್ಷಮ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವಾನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆಯದೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ ಅಥವಾ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬಾರದು, ತಪ್ಪಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಿರುವ ಜನತಾ ಪ್ರಾತಿನಿಧ್ಯ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೋಟಾರು ವಾಹನ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನಗರಸಭೆ, ಪುರಸಭೆ, ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆಯದೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್, ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ.
ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಧಿಕೃತ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಲೇ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಜಿ.ನಿಟ್ಟಾಲಿ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಿ.ಎಲ್.ನಾಗೇಶ್, ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎನ್.ತಿಪ್ಪೇಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಅಥವಾ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಚಿಹ್ನೆಯ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರವಿರುವ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಗಳ ವಿತರಣೆ, ಸಾಗಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಸ್ತಾನುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಗಾ ವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತದಾರರಿಗೆ ಆಮಿಷವೊಡ್ಡಲು ಉಡುಗೊರೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಭೋಜನ ನಿಷೇಧಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅಂತಹ ಯಾವುದೇ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಟ್ಟುಗೋಲು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
DC of Chikkaballapur warns political parties against unauthorized propaganda materials
Chikkaballapur : Ahead of the upcoming elections, the District Commissioner of Chikkaballapur, N.M. Nagaraj, has issued a stern warning to all political parties. He has instructed that no banners or posters should be put up without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority, failing which legal action will be taken against those who violate this rule and those who support them.
In a meeting with district level officials, Nagaraj emphasized that the existing Representation of People Act and Motor Vehicle Act should be strictly enforced in the district. According to him, posters, banners, and other promotional materials cannot be installed in public places without obtaining appropriate permission from the Municipal Council, Municipality, Town Panchayat, and Gram Panchayat.
The District Collector has also ordered that any unauthorized propaganda materials found in the district should be cleared immediately and legal action taken against those responsible. The meeting was attended by various officials, including Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Prakash G. Nittali, District Superintendent of Police DL Nagesh, Additional District Collector N. Thippeswamy, and officials from different departments.
Furthermore, Nagaraj has directed the concerned department’s district level head to monitor the distribution, transportation, and inventory of gifts with portraits of any particular person or party symbol. He has also made it mandatory to ban the provision of gifts and mass meals to lure voters, with any such items found subject to confiscation and a case registered against those responsible.
As the election season approaches, the Chikkaballapur District Collector’s warning is a reminder to political parties and candidates to follow the rules and regulations in place to ensure fair and transparent elections.
