Sidlaghatta : ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಮರೆಯಲಾಗದ ವಿಶೇಷ ದಿನವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಇಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷ ಶೌಚಾಲಯದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲಕಿಯರಿಗೆ 8 ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳು, ಬಾಲಕರಿಗೆ 6 ಮೂತ್ರಾಲಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 3 ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿವೆ.

327 ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಈ ಅತ್ಯವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ಒ.ಎಸ್.ಎ.ಎ.ಟಿ (One School at a Time) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ದಾನಿ ಗೋ ಟು ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜೀಸ್ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್‌ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತರಗತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳು, ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಡುಗೆ ಕೋಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಒ.ಎಸ್.ಎ.ಎ.ಟಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಇದು 74 ನೇ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವೃಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯವರು ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಯು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

Sidlaghatta Government High School receives new toilets from OSAAT organization

Sidlaghatta : Sidlaghatta Government High School had a remarkable and unforgettable day on Friday when eight toilets for girls, six urinals, and three latrines for boys were constructed within the school premises. The school had been suffering from a lack of adequate toilets for many years.

The students, totaling 327, expressed their gratitude to the OSAAT (One School at a Time) organization for fulfilling this essential requirement, and also thanked the project donor, Go to Technologies Pvt Ltd and Gramantara Trust for facilitating the project.

This is the 74th project for OSAAT aimed at constructing classrooms, toilets, and kitchens in rural government schools. During the event, the organization provided instructions to the grateful students and teaching staff on how to better maintain the toilets and how the school can adopt a responsibility sharing schedule for this purpose.

The event was attended by several notable figures, including Field Education Officer Narendra Kumar, Head Teacher Manjula, Pradeep, Rohit, Nikita from Go to Technologies, Prakash from OSAAT, Harisha N. Murthy, Nagaraja Rao, Veeranna Gowda, Nagesh, Ushashetty from Gramantara Trust, and Anantalakshmi and John.
