Chikkaballapur : ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (BMTC) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ನೆರೆಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲು ಸಜ್ಜಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಶಾಸಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಗುರುವಾರ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ಬಸ್ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರದ ಜನರ ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯ ನಂತರ ಈ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. BMTC ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಯು ರೈತರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಸಣ್ಣ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಮಾಜದ ವಿವಿಧ ವರ್ಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಅವರು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆದೇಶ ಪತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು-ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸ್ ಓಡಿಸಲು ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಎಸಿ ಬಸ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ನೆರೆಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕ್ರಮವು ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಉತ್ತೇಜನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರದ ಜನರ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಜೀವನದ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

BMTC to Expand Operations to Chikkaballapur District
Chikkaballapur : In a major development, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is set to expand its operations to Chikkaballapur, a neighboring district of Bangalore city. The announcement was made by Chikkaballapur MLA and Health Minister K. Sudhakar, who informed the public via his social media account on Thursday.
This move comes after several years of demand from the people of Chikkaballapur to extend the BMTC bus services to their district. The expansion of BMTC’s operations is expected to benefit various segments of society, including farmers, students, small businessmen, and employees.
According to the order letter shared by Minister Sudhakar, BMTC has been granted consent to operate buses on the Bangalore-Chikkaballapur route. Two AC buses have been agreed to operate on the route initially.
