Gauribidanur : ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಪುರಾಣ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ವಿದುರಾಶ್ವತ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ (Viduraswattha) ಗುರುವಾರ ಮುಜರಾಯಿ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪಿ.ಎ.ಮರ್ರಿರಾಜು ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥ ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದ (Aswattha Narayanaswamy Temple) ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಹುಂಡಿ ಎಣಿಕೆ (count) ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಂತೆ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಹುಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ₹21.43 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಣ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆವರದಲ್ಲೇ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.
ರಾಜಸ್ವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ರವಿ, ಮಹೇಶ್, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎನ್.ಎಂ. ಚಿನ್ನಪ್ಪರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಸದಸ್ಯ ಸುರೇಶ್, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Aswattha Narayanaswamy temple counts over ₹21.43 lakh in donation hundi
In a significant development, the donation hundi of the Aswattha Narayanaswamy temple in Viduraswattha, located in Gouribidanur taluk, was counted on Thursday. The event was attended by Mujarai Tahsildar Manjunath and the working officer of the temple P.A. Marriraju, among others.
It is worth noting that as per the direction of the District Collector, the donation box in the temple is counted thrice in a year. During this particular counting, a remarkable sum of more than ₹21.43 lakh was collected. Following the officials’ meticulous counting of the donations in the temple, they were handed over to the local Pragati Gramin Bank staff for safekeeping.
A host of dignitaries and officials graced the occasion with their presence, including Royal Inspectors Ravi and Mahesh, Chairman of the Temple Management Board N.M. Chinnappareddy, member Suresh, bank staff, and others.
