Chikkaballapur : ಬುಧವಾರ ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರದ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಂಟಪದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಕಂಚಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ಮಠದ ನಿರ್ಮಲಾನಂದನಾಥ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರದ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಸಂಘವು ಅವರ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಪಣಾ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿತು. ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಚಿವ ಎಸ್.ಟಿ. ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮ ರಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದರೆ, ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವೀರಶೈವ ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ ಮತ್ತು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಲೂಕು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಪಿ.ಎನ್. ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮಾಜದ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕೇಶವರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಎಲ್‌ಡಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕಾಳೇಗೌಡ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರುಳಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರವಿರುವ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಗಳ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೂ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಜತೆಗೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಮೂರ್ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನದೊಳಗೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಮಾಡದೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
Bronze Statue of Kempegowda Unveiled at Chikkaballapur
Chikkaballapur : On Wednesday, bronze statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda was unveiled on the premises of Okkaliga Kalyana Mandapam in Chikkaballapur. Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Math presided over the ceremony and spoke about the importance of community organizations working together to become a voice for their community.
The Okkaligara Sangha in Chikkaballapur was praised for their work and dedication. The community, which is doing well financially, was urged to consider the benefits of reservation to provide fair facilities to those in need. Cooperation Minister S.T. Somashekhar highlighted the BJP government’s efforts in creating a reservation facility and development corporation, while Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar spoke about the economic and social problems faced by the community and the government’s announcement of reservation for Veerashaiva Lingayat and Okkaliga communities.
The ceremony was attended by various community leaders and office bearers, including Taluk Okkaligar Association President P.N. Keshavareddy and PLD Bank Chairman Kalegowda. The event also included a procession of palanquins bearing Kempegowda’s portrait from the Marulasiddeshwar temple.
In addition, it was announced that land would be allotted for the Okkaliga community building in Chikkaballapur within the next three to four days. Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar assured the community that land would be given fairly and without discrimination towards any community.
