ಆರೋಪಿಯಿಂದ 205 ಗ್ರಾಂ ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ, 250 ಗ್ರಾಂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು, ₹12 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಕಳವು ಮಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತನಿಖೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಶೇಖ್ ಖಾಜಾಫಿರ್ ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರು, ಮಧುಗಿರಿ, ತುಮಕೂರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ನೇತೃತ್ವವನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಿ.ಎಲ್. ನಾಗೇಶ್, ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪಾಧೀಕ್ಷಕ ವಿ.ಕೆ. ವಾಸುದೇವ್, ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಗೇಪಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಡಿ.ಎಚ್.ಮುನಿಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Interstate Burglar Apprehended: Stolen Goods Worth ₹12 Lakh Seized
Bagepalli : Bagepalli police have successfully apprehended an interstate burglar involved in several house theft cases, including those in the town of Bagepalli. The arrested suspect is Sheikh Khazafir, hailing from Dharmavaram, Andhra Pradesh.
The police have confiscated a significant amount of stolen goods from the accused, including 205 grams of gold jewellery, 250 grams of silver articles, and a two-wheeler worth over ₹12 lakh. During the investigation, Sheikh Khazafir confessed to committing thefts in various other locations, such as Gouribidanur, Madhu Giri, and Tumkur.
The case was led by Chikkaballapur District Superintendent of Police D.L. Nagesh, Chikkaballapur District Deputy Superintendent V.K. Vasudev, and Circle Inspector of Bagepalli Police Station D. H. Munikrishna, under whose guidance the investigation was conducted.
The arrest of the accused is a significant breakthrough for the police, and it is hoped that it will lead to the resolution of other house theft cases in the area. The authorities have commended the diligent efforts of the investigating team and emphasized the importance of collaboration between law enforcement agencies in tackling criminal activities.
